The face is a work of art, with dials within dials: the seconds dial is set at the 9 o’clock position, with the three-dimensional Hélice logo as counter; the 30-minute counter is set at the 3 o’clock position, and the 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock.
There is no need for pointless complications to create an impression of power and solidity in this timepiece embodying the state of the watchmaker’s art.
The 43 mm diameter casing can be black (PVD coating), or in polished steel. The hand-stitched strap of finest leather has a double-tongued fastener bearing the Hélice logo. An alternative option is a single-tongued fastener on a strap in precious skin.
CHRONO Premium is available with the days of the week shown in French or in English, or with a simple date window set at the half-past 4 position.
The Chrono Premium range runs on a Valjoux 7750 automatic mechanical movement.
This is a truly wonderful mechanism that has proved its worth in many famous Swiss watches.
As in all Hélice watches, the balance wheel is in Glucydur, a highly elastic, hard, antimagnetic and stainless alloy, well suited to the Chrono Premium.
Working time is about 46 hours for 28,800 vibrations per hour (VPH), 4Hz.
